Are you the missing piece we are looking for? We are growing and are pleased to offer a newly established position as a vicar.

Habo parish, located by the shores of Lake Vättern, about 15 km northwest of Jönköping, consists of three active and well-functioning congregations with many meeting places for both children and adults.

Habo is an expanding municipality with well-developed local services and the opportunity to live a good life close to nature and outdoor activities. There are many families with children in our municipality, which has about 13,700 inhabitants, of which approximately 8,400 are church members. In the parish with Habo, Gustav Adolf, and Brandstorp congregations, we are a team of 26 employees working around four churches and a chapel.

Our activities are broad, and we have a vibrant worship life, a stable economy, well-maintained buildings and cemeteries, and not least, dedicated employees, both paid and voluntary. You have the drive to work independently but will also collaborate closely with our three other vicars. In Habo parish, we are facing exciting challenges as we are in an innovative and developing phase.

We are looking for someone who:

• is ordained in the Church of Sweden.
• can meet people of all ages as you will work with children, youth, families, and the elderly.
• is good at planning, structuring, and foresight.
• is driven, responsible, attentive, and social.
• has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• has a driver's license and access to a car.

The position is full-time and ongoing. Start date is according to agreement. Given that you will meet many people in this role, great importance is placed on personal suitability.
